Daniela Rapisarda

Italian dancer, actress, singer and choreographer.

She performed in various theaters of the world: Paris (Olympia), New York (Manhattan Center), Montecarlo (Salle Garnier Opera), Arena di Verona, Toronto (Rama Theater), Rome (Al Sistina), Genoa (Carlo Felice), Bari (Petruzzelli), Sanint Vincent (Billia), Foxwood (Fox Theater), Taormina (Teatro Antico), Milan (Arcimboldi), Sanremo (Teatro Ariston), Turin (Teatro Nuovo) and a lot more.

She worked with important artists souch as Claudio Baglioni, Giancarlo Giannini and Massimo Ranieri among others.

With Mr.Ranieri she worked from 2007 to 2012, taking part in the following shows: Poveri ma Belli 2008/2010 (singer, actress, dancer), Sogno e son desto 2010 (dancer), Canto perché  non so nuotare da 40 anni 2009/2012 (dancer),  Napoli Milionaria 2011 (actress, in the role of Margherita), part of Le commedie di Eduardo De Filippo 2011 progetto Rai (Radio Televisione Italiana).

From 2012 to 2014 she worked as the Artistic Director of the dance section at “Teatro delle Celebrazioni” in Bologna (Italy) where she established: Binario 234 2012 international festival of contemporary dance, Celebrazioni in Danza 2012/2013 international dance competition, Oniin Dance Company 2012 contemporary dance company of which she is Artistic Director and choreographer.

For Oniin Dance Company Daniela took care of the direction and the choreographies of different productions: Corruption (2012), Omaggio a Morricone (2012), Oniriko (2013), Phonè (W) (2014), Phonè (M) (2015), Taijitu (2016), Bataclan/13 (2016), Cor-O2 (2017), Tuo-Out (2018). Some of these pieces were born thanks to the colaboration with the choreographer Alessandro Vacca.

The Oniin's repertoire besides standing out in the European dance scene have been performed in New York, Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Miami, Hong Kong, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka and Shanghai.

Currently she working in New York with Oniin/2.
